Proper Assembly and Leak Testing

Before lighting any propane appliance, it is important to perform a leak test.

Leak testing can be easily performed using a simple solution of soap and water.

Modern made hose will last for many years provided they are properly installed.

Use only agency approved Pipe Sealant when changing propane hoses with pipe threads.

Do not use any type of sealant when assembling flare fittings.

For proper procedures on changing propane hoses consult your local propane company.
